Louis Barruol is a 14th generation winemaker based in Gigondas with exceptional knowledge of the Northern Rhône and its various growers. The fruit for his 'La Boisselée' cuvee is sourced from several schist soil Côte Rôtie vineyards, fermented in cement tanks before ageing in mostly old Burgundy barrels. The end result is the prettier side of Syrah that we absolutely love - violets and earth, dark berries and silky tannins. This is so beautiful.
