As one of the 'Gang of Four' Guy Breton needs little introduction. Along with his contemporaries Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet and Jean Foillard, Guy helped transformed Beaujolais from a region of mass-produced swill to a serious wine producing region, using natural methods and downright good winemaking techniques that respect the land and the product. His Fleurie is a stunning example of Gamay that showcases the 'Queen of Beaujolais' well. This is both elegant and delicious with bright red berries, rose petals and soft tannins.
