One of the truly iconic wines of Australia. Tyrrell's has been a staple of the Hunter Valley since 1858, producing a range of excellent wines. Their Vat 1 Semillon is arguably their most famous product - made from vines planted in 1923 it is the Hunter Valley Semillon that set the bar for all others. This dry farmed wine is fermented entirely in stainless steel and not released until at least 5 years after harvest. Drink young for primary citrus fruits or rest this in the cellar for 10 years+ to truly see it evolve.
