País is a grape variety with a lengthy history that is little known throughout most of the wine world but has found a home in Chile where it is one of the most widely planted grape varieties. This one from the newly formed Dominio Del Cuarzo is an absolute stunner. Winemaker Felipe Ramirez stays busy, bouncing back and forth from his homeland in Chile to Oregon, where he also makes wine. His País is delicate and lively, bright-fruited and pure.
