Momento Wines started in 2013 when winemaker Marelise Niemann was still the winemaker at Beaumont Family Wines in nearby Bot River. Since it's inception the wines have steadily become known for their quality. These are thoughtfully made wines produced with minimal intervention that allows the site and the fruit to shine through. Her Chenin Blanc Verdelho blend is sourced primarily from Swartland vineyards and is a wine filled with texture and finesse. This is wild and pure with touches of honey, lots of citrus, beautiful aromatics. The palate has medium weight but lots of that Chenin Blanc acid to balance things out. Beautiful.
