An absolute stunning wine made by Quinta do Pinto. The 'Garrafeira' bottling is a product of vines more than 45 years old, fermented in concrete, aged in neutral oak and held back for several years before release in order to develop complexity in the form of tertiary flavors. The finished product is a bold, wonderfully developed wine with no overpowering oak, modest 14% alcohol, dark berry fruit and great acidity. This is firm yet fresh with nice, silky tannins, offered at a very attractive price point.
