Domaine Buisson-Battault et Fils is a multi-generational estate located in the heart of Meursault. This is the epicenter for the world's most sought after chardonnay. The vieilles vignes (old vines) bottling is sourced from two single vineyards located in Meursault and is aged on the lees in French oak for 12 months. There is a marked mineral component to these wines but the extended lees aging shows a wine with a beautiful mouthfeel. This is filled with lemon curd and custard with beautiful refreshing acid. A wonderful Meursault.
