This group of winemakers known as Envínate (Laura Ramos, Jose Martínez, Roberto Santana and Alfonso Torrente) has certainly created some buzz to the say the least since their inception. The group focuses on traditional winemaking, exceptional plots and maximum expression of the land, which has drawn big attention in the winemaking world. The wines are beautiful - all of them. The 'Albahra' bottling is made from Garnacha Tintorera and Moravia Agria grapes grown at 800 metres altitude, and fermented with 40% whole bunches in large concrete tanks. Marked by ripe, earthy fruit, dusty tannins and fresh acidity.
