It's hard to believe Timorasso almost went extinct in the 1980's. This often forgotten white grape variety produces wonderful full-bodied wines with stunning aromas, reminiscent of the Northern Rhone. La Spinetta are a legendary producer known more for producing world class Barbarescos and Barolos in a modern style. All of their wines are fantastic in our opinion and this Timorasso is no exception. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with 8 months on the lees. This is golden in color; honeyed, floral and intense with bright, refreshing acid that balances out so well. What a wine from this great producer.
